Dartmour Demo

I'm Vlad. I started working on Dartmour out of a deep personal longing to play this kind of game. I didn’t quit a job to “follow my dream” — the project I was working on ended, and like many others in the industry, I’ve struggled to find stable work since.

The game dev scene is saturated, with many talented people out of jobs. While working on short-term contracts, I began drafting what would become Dartmour — the kind of RPG I’ve always wanted to play. As a lifelong gamer, this is a passion project more than anything else.

Last year, I prototyped the game in Unreal. After a break due to personal circumstances, I returned this year with renewed focus — and realized I should never have stepped away. I’ve since ported the entire project to Godot, and started tirelessly building everything from scratch.

Dartmour Demo is a simplified vertical slice — a standalone showcase of a much larger vision. The first goal is to make it fully playable and polished enough to attract a publisher.

Eventually, this project needs to grow into a team effort. But right now, I’m developing everything solo.

You can follow my progress on Patreon, Ko-fi, YouTube, and Twitter — everything I post is public. If you have questions, feedback, or just want to say hi — feel free to reach out.

Thanks for reading,
– Vlad
